Information from some key contact persons seem to prove this rumour as true but due to the sensitive nature of the situation no one wants to prove beyond reasonable doubt having seen or witnessed the presence of members or a member of a militia group living among community members. In areas like Balatiro bordering Garissa County locals in the neighbouring villages claim that they have seen the militia men living within the community in the place and to prove it one young man who was supplying the militia men with food and water according to some community ambassadors leaked the information of Alshabaab presence in the village but few days after that he disappeared and up-to-date his whereabouts are still unknown.
