Cargo lorries that ply Mombasa-Lamu road need to be inspected as the information that is circulating in the villages is that those lorries are either shipping weapons or drugs.

Here is why -
Following the recent Dusit terror attack, many questions have emerged over how the weapons used were ferried from Somalia to Nairobi. It is alleged that some are brought in through our porous borders landing in refugee camps before distribution while other allegations claim that they get into the country via Lamu and take advantage over the massive Boni forest. But how the weapons make it to big cities like Nairobi is still a question that needs to be answered.
