Several young men from Orma and a Dogodiya communities engaged in fight leaving four Dogodiya's nursing serious injuries. The fight led to rise in tension and increased fear of retaliatory attack.

Here is why -
A fight ensued over grazing land between two groups of young men who were herding. It started as a fight between two people and later they both received support from their peers and tribes men which led to the injuries. Village elders intervened in the matter to avoid future retaliation as both communities survive on herding.
