KDF has been undertaking an operation to flush out Al-shabaab in Boni forest and this has affected the Lamu-Garsen road as a path that Al-shabaab has several time taken advantage and carry out fatal ambush to unsuspecting travelers, the government has made a decision to start bombing the forest and most of the bang is heard from a distance by communities in the Tana Delta.
